First time I played the suicide mission, actually. It was when you’re about to decide who you want your fire team leader to be, and Miranda’s all FUCK Y’ALL SHEPARD SHOULD CHOOSE ME but then I chose Garrus and she’s like WELL AT LEAST HE KNOWS WHAT HE’S DOING so my ship brain’s like THIS IS A GOOD SHIP YO SHIP IT SHIIIP IIIT GO DOWN WITH IT so I’m like K.

• My thoughts:

They’re both great tacticians and leaders. They both have fathers who pushed them to be something they’re not. Both have sisters they would move heaven and hell to protect (okay this is going to headcanon territory for Garrus but I’m on a roll here come on). It’s not a lot to go on, but they have interesting similarities.
